ecoSorp is a hydrocarbon adsorbing system designed to remove small amounts of light liquids from it’s influent so the treated effluent can be directly discharged with hydrocarbon concentrations at or below 0.1 ppm. ecoSorp´s adsorption media insures that trace amounts of light liquids are removed and maintained. ecoSorp, installed in a precast vessel, is the last element of a purification chain consisting of a solid separation grit chamber and an ecoSep oil/water separator. Achieving extended maintenance (ecoSorp’s adsorption media life) intervals is a function of high efficiency pre-treatment for this, an ecoSep system is recommended. |
